Each June Dorset sponsors our Run/Walk competition where the entire family is welcome to participate. The businesses of Dorset provide t-shirts and refreshments to all entrants along with a possibility of a great meal afterwards at one of our fabulous restaurants.
Taste of Dorset Sunday August 5, 2007

Often times a great way to socialize. All of the businesses and employees participate in this huge undertaking and if that is not enough the public is welcome to rent a space to sell their own items. As always Dorset's unique approach to a 'garage sale' provides the wildest and most exciting garage sale you will ever attend. Mayor Race Everyday
One of the most unique and exciting events is our race for Mayor. The beginning is your vote for the person of your choice for $1.00. Yes each vote costs a buck to be valid. Ballot boxes are located in each store to make sure you have the best opportunity to vote. You may also enter the contest by sending your dollar along with name, address and phone number to;
